Chocolate M&M Cookies
These cookies are super quick and easy to make. They leave very little mess and are so yummy. They are a perfect little snack and everyone will love them.

Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter Crisco
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups M&M's, plus more for topping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate medium bowl, cream together Crisco and sugars with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla.
- Beat in the cocoa powder until well incorporated. Scrape the bowl as needed.
- Mix in eggs, one at a time, scraping the bowl after each addition.
- Mix in flour half a cup at a time.
- Fold in the M&M's.
- Scoop cookie dough by rounded tablespoon onto your prepared baking sheet. Make sure dough balls are about 1 1/2 inches apart. Top the cookies with additional M&M's for a bakery-style look.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for about 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
*Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days.
*If cookies have risen in the center, lightly tap your baking sheet on the counter to get them to flatten.
