Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce

This yummy cranberry sauce is a great addition to any holiday meal. It tastes yummy alone as a snack. It is also the perfect compliment to any turkey or ham.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup orange juice (I prefer Simply Orange)
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1  cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine all of the ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and cook about 3 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Remove the cinnamon stick.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve chilled and Enjoy!

*Refrigerate for 4-5 days in an airtight container.

Makes 1 1/2 cups
