Ingredients:
- 4-5 chicken breasts
- 2 cups crunchy onions (I prefer French's)
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups honey mustard (I prefer Ken's)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and set aside.
- Add the onions and flour to a gallon sized ziplock bag. Zip and shake to coat the onions well with the flour. Use a rolling pin to crush the onions. Add them to a small bowl.
- Add the honey mustard to a small bowl to create your dredging station. First dip both sides of a chicken breast into the honey mustard, coating well. Then dip both sides of the chicken into the onion crumbs, coating well. Press the onions with your fingers to help them adhere to the chicken. Place the chicken breast into your prepared baking dish.
- Repeat step 3 with your remaining chicken breasts.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until the chicken has cooked through and reaches 165F for at least 30 seconds.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
*Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Heat before serving.
*You can also use chicken tenders, if desired. It will make about 1 pound- 1 1/2 pounds. Bake them the same way.
