Easy Muffin Mix Waffles
This recipe is super easy, super quick and super cheap. It turns out better than the toaster waffles, and requires only a couple more steps. It takes about as long as the muffins do, but this just changes things up a little. You can also top them with anything you like on a regular waffle.

Ingredients:
- 1 package Martha White muffin mix (any flavor)
- whole milk
- 1 egg
- spray olive oil or vegetable oil
- Dash Mini Waffle Maker*
Directions:
- Mix together the muffin mix, milk and egg in a small mixing bowl until just incorporated.
- Spray the waffle iron with the oil to keep the waffles from sticking. Add 2 tablespoons of the batter. Cook until waffle is golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter, spraying the waffle maker with oil in between each waffle.
- Top with syrup, fruit, whipped cream, or anything else you like on waffles.
*These are super easy and cheap to make. They cost a little more than $1 or $2 and come together really quickly.
*The batter is going to be a little more runny than traditional waffle batter. This is totally normal, it will still cook like a regular waffle.
*You can use any waffle iron that you have, you may just have to make more batter. I am not affiliated with Dash, that's just what I use, so I am able to give you the correct measurements. However, you can try this with whatever you normally use. Just be sure to change the measurements and follow the directions on your waffle iron.
*If you do not have a waffle iron, you can also use this same recipe to make pancakes. They will cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side. You can also make bigger pancakes, but the fry time may vary. Also, be sure to butter or spray your skillet or griddle with oil in between each pancake.
*These are great for brunches and charcuterie boards too! You can use all kinds of different flavors, without cooking all morning and spending a lot of money. You can also use the different shaped waffle irons (like the bunnies I used), to make things a little more festive!
