Macaroni and Cheese
This delicious macaroni is cheesy and bursting with flavor. It is seasoned to perfection. It is the perfect side dish to any meal. I love to serve it with holiday dinners, and its always a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups elbow noodles
- 1 egg
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/4 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1/2 shredded extra sharp cheese
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
- Add macaroni noodles to a large pot and fill with water only to cover macaroni. Boil until macaroni is soft. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg. Set aside.
- In a large, deep skillet melt the butter on medium-low heat, making sure not to scorch. Mix in the flour.
- Pour in the milk, whisking until smooth. Whisk in seasonings.
- Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes until thick, then reduce heat to low.
- Take 1/4 cup of mixture and beat into egg, tempering it so that it will not scramble. Whisk egg into mixture until smooth.
- Add in cheese and whisk until smooth. Add in noodles and mix well.
- Serve warm.
*Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
