Maple Pecan Snow Cream

This snow ice cream is a great treat for any snow day. It is simple and cheap. It makes just a small mess, so the clean up is purple quick. The kids will love it, and the adults will too!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of clean snow
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

  1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until creamy. Try to be quick, as the snow will begin to melt the more you mess with it.
  2. Serve immediately for best results. Snow cream does not keep well in the freezer. If you want to try to keep it, you can place it in an airtight container outside in the snow for just a few hours until ready to serve.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups (12 ounces)
