Oreo Balls

Oreo Balls

These are super fun and cheap. They come together quickly and don't make a big mess. They are only 3 ingredients and still taste super yummy. They can be made for all kinds of holidays and get-togethers.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Oreos
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 20 ounces candy melts (white chocolate, dark chocolate or milk chocolate. Its whatever you prefer. I like to use Ghiradelli.)
  • additional Oreos or sprinkls for topping (optional)

Directions:

  1. Crush the Oreos in a large gallon ziplock bag until they are almost a sand consistency. If you have a food processor, you can do this in the bowl of it instead.
  2. If you are using a food processor, add the cream cheese and pulse until completely incorporated. If you are not using a food processor, dump your cookie crumbs into a medium mixing bowl. Add the cream cheese and mix with a large spoon or hand mixer until fully incorporated.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes until no longer sticky.
  4. Line a two medium baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
  5. Remove the Oreo mixture from the fridge and roll into one inch balls. Place the balls on one of the lined baking sheets as you roll them.
  6. Melt the candy melts according to the directions on the package. Quickly coat each Oreo ball in the chocolate, placing them on the other lined baking sheet to harden. If you want to add crushed Oreos or sprinkles to the tops, now is the time, before the chocolate cools.
  7. After coating, allow all of the Oreo balls time to harden at room temperature.
  8. Enjoy!

*Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

*You can split these up and gift to friends and family during the holidays.
