Sharp Cheddar Cheese Ball

Sharp Cheddar Cheese Ball

This cheeseball comes together in a hurry. If you are looking for something cheap and easy, this is the recipe for you! This cheeseball is a sure crowd-pleaser for any get together. Its perfect for Easter, birthdays and pot lucks.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch curly parsley (only if making carrot shape)
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (I prefer Cholula)
  • 1 teaspoon worcestechire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 8 ounce blocks cream cheese, room temperature

Directions:

  1. Mix together cream cheese, hot sauce and Italian seasoning. You may have to use your hands to ensure that all ingredients are incorporated well.
  2. Add 2 cups of the shredded cheese and mix well.
  3. Shape the cheeseball into a carrot or ball and place onto a serving platter or large plate. Press the remaining cup of cheese all over the outside of the cheeseball to adhere. You can use more cheese if this doesn't cover your shape completely. If you are making the carrot shape, add as many sprigs of the parsley to the top as you like, to get a full-looking carrot.
  4. Serve with crackers, chips etc. Enjoy!

*Store in refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
