Valentine's Day Pink Latte

Valentine's Day Pink Latte

This latte is super quick and easy. It is very pretty and aesthetically pleasing for Valentine's, anniversaries, and even birthdays. It tastes yummy and leaves almost no mess.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 6 ounces whole milk
  • 1-2 teaspoons flavor syrup (I prefer Torani)
  • 1 teaspoon beet powder

Directions:

  1. Stir the flavoring to your brewed coffee or espresso. Typically I only add one teaspoon to a regular latte, however you can taste the beet powder slightly so you may want a little more syrup.
  2. If you have an electric frother, pour your milk into the bin and add the beet powder. You can then froth as you normally would. If you have a handheld frother, add your milk to a cup with the beat powder and froth until lumps are gone.
  3. Once you have frothed the milk, you can pour it into your espresso or coffee and enjoy!

*Sometimes when I use my electric frother, it does not remove all of the lumps. To prevent this, you can mix the beet powder into the milk with a blender or a handheld frother before adding to the electric frother. I like to use my magic bullet for this because it's small.

*If you already drink lattes at home, you probably have a certain way that you prefer them. That is perfectly fine! You can just add an extra step to what you've already been doing by adding the beet powder to the milk before frothing it. It is really simple and easy to turn any existing recipe that you love, pink. You can barely taste the beet powder, so you can add it to pretty much anything.
