Green Bean Casserole

This yummy side dish is perfect for any gathering. It comes together so gracefully, and tastes as good as it looks. This dish is a definite crowd pleaser.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9x11 baking dish. Set aside.
  3. Set up a large bowl of ice and water. Set aside.
  4. Bring a large pot of water with salt to a boil over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the green beans. Cook about 6 minutes, until tender.
  6. Using tongs, carefully transfer the green beans to the ice bath. Let cool for 2 minutes, the drain.
  7. In a large bowl, mix together the green beans and the cream of mushroom soup.
  8. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bubbling.
  9. Top with fried onions.
  10. Enjoy!
