
Green Bean Casserole
This yummy side dish is perfect for any gathering. It comes together so gracefully, and tastes as good as it looks. This dish is a definite crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:
- 2 pounds fresh green beans, ends snapped
- 1 tablespoon salt
- about 2 cups french fried onions
- 16 ounces cream of mushroom soup, unstrained
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Lightly grease a 9x11 baking dish. Set aside.
- Set up a large bowl of ice and water. Set aside.
- Bring a large pot of water with salt to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add the green beans. Cook about 6 minutes, until tender.
- Using tongs, carefully transfer the green beans to the ice bath. Let cool for 2 minutes, the drain.
- In a large bowl, mix together the green beans and the cream of mushroom soup.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bubbling.
- Top with fried onions.
- Enjoy!
